Juventus Cycling Club has a strong set of core values that are defined in our Code of Conduct.

The purpose of this code is to establish the expectations of club members in terms of the public and competitive behavior of its riders. As a member of Juventus, riders are expected to abide by this Code of Conduct at all times, especially when wearing team kit.

Safety: All road, track and off road club rides are to be held with safety as a priority including both safety of riders and the general public.  Obey all traffic regulations as enforced by relevant authorities while on individual or group training rides or as instructed during sanctioned races. Share the trail and respect the rights and safety of other trail users.

Listen to and respect the instructions of the designated ride leader or coach on club training rides.

Respect the jersey:  Wear team kit proudly on all training rides and races.  Riders are encouraged to wear team kit (clean and in good condition) on all training rides to promote the club and set an example of responsible cycling to the general public.

Sportsmanship: Be professional and race to the best of your ability, race as a team, win with grace and lose with dignity. Abide by the rules of competition in both letter and spirit. Show respect towards your competitors.

Nurture/foster: Do your best help the development and education of all club riders regardless of level. Encourage and respect your club mates. Welcome new riders of all ages and abilities. Be a good example to other riders, especially youth and new riders.

Volunteer: Give back to the sport as best you can. Support our races and events. Participate.
