How s your long weekend been? Did you take a leap of dedication and get out for a ride or 2 in the rain or between showers?
How a bout a big shout-out for Sidney & Abbey McGill who traveled to Mt Tremblant QC for the 2nd Canada Cup of the year. Sidney took the win int eh Junior Elite category, with a good gap, and the report is Abbey was 6th in an always tough Quebec U17 field.
Here's the lineup for this week:
Tuesday:
- there's no Fat Tire Tuesday dues to conditions 😥
- we'll do an MTB ride on the Gravel trails - meet at Kinsmen @ 6pm
- Lamp+ RR meet at Rolly-view hall @ 6:30pm to pre-ride the weekends RR course.
Wednesday :
- Road Bikes - meet at the Velo ready to go @ 5:30
Thursday:
- LAMP+ track league, Velo @ 6:00pm
Saturday/Sunday:
- Road - Steida Classic presented by Juventus. Saturday - Rolly View Road Race, Sunday- Research park Crit.
- MTB - Saturday - United Cycle Race the Ridge @ Sunridge - This is the qualifier for anyone in Edmonton wanting to participate in the Alberta Summer Games this July. If you do you MUST also register with the ASG the details are here. http://www.albertabicycle.ab.ca/ab-summer-games
- Sunday - River Valley Rumble _Extended version - Marathon Team up with a friend for the 5 hours if you're not doing the road Crit.
- Tracy will be supporting the road races as they are Team Alberta Qualifiers and I will be at the MTB races.
